Welcome to the brand resources site for Threads. Here you’ll find brand guidelines and downloadable assets as well as information on obtaining permission to use assets for Threads in your own work. More detailed guidelines are coming soon.
Brand guidelines and assets
Anyone using assets for Threads should only use the logos found on our Brand Resource Center site and follow these guidelines.
Threads icon
For legibility and protection of the Threads icon, it must be surrounded by a minimum amount of clear space. To determine the clear space needed, note the width of the icon and divide by 4.
Lock up
Our lock up is our icon + Threads, drawn to match each other in weight. The sizing and spacing relationship should remain intact, unless they are moved apart and used individually.
Only those planning to use assets for Threads in any broadcast, radio, out-of-home advertising or print larger than 8.5 x 11 inches (A4 size) need to request permission. Requests must be in English and include a mock of how you’re planning to use the Threads logo. Please visit Instagram brand page for more information.
