The Meta logo

High-level details on how to use the Meta logo in your marketing and media communications is included below. Please work closely with your Meta contact for detailed guidelines and approvals. If you do not have a Meta contact, submit a request here.

When to use the Meta logo

  • Partnerships or sponsorships with a formal agreement in place with Meta

  • Newscasts and news programming

  • Editorials

  • Books, plays, talk shows, TV shows and film scripts

  • Print packaging

  • Marketing or advertising that appears on TV or online

Note: The Meta logo should not be used to represent Facebook.


The Meta logo exists in four color variations.


Use a primary variation whenever possible.


Only use the mono variations in low reproduction environments when a primary variation cannot perform.

The minimum size of the Meta logo is defined by the height of the symbol and should never be used below 12px/5mm.

Clear space

Clear space

The clear space of the Meta logo is defined by doubling the height of the symbol, which is applied equally around the edges of the logo.

How to submit a brand permissions request

All usage of the Meta logo requires approval. Please work closely with your Meta contact for detailed guidelines and approvals on using Meta brand assets in your marketing and media communications.

Meta dedicates substantial resources to the development and protection of its intellectual property. In addition to seeking registration of its trademarks and logos around the world, Meta enforces its rights against people who misuse its trademarks.

Meta’s trademarks are owned by Meta and may only be used as provided in these guidelines or with Meta’s permission. A list of some of Meta’s trademarks can be found here. You may not use or register, or otherwise claim rights in any Meta trademark, including as or as part of any trademark, service mark, company name, trade name, username or domain registration. You should not use or claim rights in any trademark in a way that is confusingly similar to or dilutive of Meta’s trademarks, including as, or as any part of, a trademark. Do not use Meta’s trademarks for anything that would be inconsistent with Meta’s Terms of Service or Community Standards.

We may revoke permission to use Meta’s trademarks at any time. Meta reserves the right to withhold approval of content that it considers inconsistent with the Meta brand.
