Justin Osofsky, Head of Online Sales, Operations and Partnerships

Justin Osofsky is Meta’s Head of Online Sales, Operations and Partnerships. His remit includes revenue generation and leading sales and operations focused on growing small and medium-sized businesses on our platforms. He also oversees the Content Partnerships team, which works across business and product to help people discover the most interesting, relevant and personalized content on Facebook and Instagram.

He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Instagram, where he led operations and business development and was responsible for helping the app scale globally. During his time as COO, Instagram grew to over 2 billion monthly active users, and Reels developed from a pre-revenue product to one with a $3 billion annual revenue run rate across Instagram and Facebook.

While COO of Instagram, Justin was also Vice President of Global Operations at Meta. He worked in close partnership with the product and policy organizations with the goal of creating a safe, inclusive community for people, businesses and developers. Prior to these roles, Justin led corporate development where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions and helped the company successfully integrate acquisitions and develop strategic opportunities across Meta technologies. Before that, he led the global media partnership team.

Justin joined the company in 2008, and previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
