Marne Levine, Chief Business Officer

Marne Levine is chief business officer at Meta, formerly Facebook, overseeing the company’s advertising and business partnerships. Previously, Marne was VP of Global Partnerships, Business & Corporate Development; COO of Instagram; and before that, VP of Global Policy.

Prior to Meta, Marne served in the Obama administration as chief of staff of the National Economic Council at the White House and special assistant to the President for Economic Policy. Before that, she was head of product management for Revolution Money, an early stage start-up working on person-to-person online money transfers. Marne began her career at the United States Department of Treasury under President Bill Clinton.

Marne holds a BA in political science and communications from Miami University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She serves on the board of directors for Chegg, The Advertising Council, Paley Center for Media, and Women for Women International. She lives in Menlo Park, California, with her husband and two sons.
