Become Meta Verified
Get started with the verification process. Activate your Meta Verified subscription for $14.99 USD/month (iOS/Android) or $11.99 USD/month on the web (Facebook only). It is currently available in the United States, Australia and New Zealand for people 18 years or older and is not yet available in all places or for businesses.

Select a profile
Go to ‘Settings’ on Instagram or Facebook. Click ‘Accounts Center’, then ‘Meta Verified’. If it’s available for your account, you will see ‘Meta Verified available’ under your name and profile photo.
Set up payment
Select your preferred payment method for your monthly payment.
Confirm profile and provide ID
Complete the verification process and provide a government-issued photo ID to confirm your identity before being approved for a Meta Verified subscription.

As we test and learn, there will be no changes to accounts on Instagram or Facebook that are already verified based on prior requirements. Existing verified badge holders can also apply for a Meta Verified subscription if they meet the eligibility requirements. Learn more about eligibility requirements on Instagram and Facebook.
You will be asked to provide a government-issued ID so we can confirm your identity before being approved for a Meta Verified subscription. The ID must match the profile name and photo of the Instagram or Facebook account you’re applying for. Once your profile is verified, you can’t change the profile name, username, date of birth, or photo on your profile without going through the Meta Verified subscription and verification application process again.
