Select a profile
Go to ‘Settings’ on Instagram or Facebook. Click ‘Accounts Center’, then ‘Meta Verified’. If it’s available for your account, you will see ‘Meta Verified available’ under your name and profile photo.

Verify identity
Complete the verification process and provide a government-issued photo ID and where available a selfie video to confirm your identity before being approved for a Meta Verified subscription.

As we test and learn, there will be no changes to accounts on Instagram or Facebook that are already verified based on prior requirements. Existing verified badge holders can also apply for a Meta Verified subscription if they meet the eligibility requirements. Learn more about eligibility requirements on Instagram and Facebook.
You will be asked to provide a government-issued ID and where available a selfie video so we can confirm your identity before being approved for a Meta Verified subscription. The ID must match the profile name and photo of the Instagram or Facebook account you’re applying for. Once your profile is verified, you can’t change your username or date of birth on your profile without going through the Meta Verified subscription and verification application process again. No. To use Meta Verified on both Instagram and Facebook, you must subscribe on each app separately. However, currently if you subscribe on Facebook, your verified badge will also appear on Messenger.
Meta Verified is generally available in most regions for USD $11.99 when you subscribe from the web (Facebook only) and USD $14.99 when you subscribe within the app. You can begin the Meta Verified onboarding experience on Facebook or Instagram to see local pricing for your market.
